World Vision Malaysia (WVM) was set up in 1997 as a support office of World Vision International. World Vision International is a Christian relief and development organisation working for the well being of all people, especially children. Through emergency relief, education, health care, economic development and promotion of justice, World Vision helps communities help themselves.

As a member of World Vision International, WVM is committed to promote the transformation and development of poor communities and to provide relief to those afflicted by conflicts or disasters. This is achieved through emergency relief, education, health care, economic development and promotion of justice.
